ADRIAN GOMEZ plays the backseat bully Dino Barbano in NUNE. Below is his candid biography in first person.
Raised in East Lost Angeles, I found a passion for Shakespeare and theater at the age of 12. By that age of 16, it was clear to me that I wanted to become an actor. I’ve taken Shakespearean workshops at East Los Angeles College, voice articulation, and acting for film, TV and theater. Theater was healing for me because it got me out of my anti-social shell. My favorite actor is Michael J. Fox. When I first saw him in BACK TO THE FUTURE, I knew I wanted to be just like him. Just seeing him do that Johnny B Goode scene was so cool. Although I can’t dance, I also admire Gene Kelly for his acting style. I enjoy horror and kung fu movies and the TV show, SUPERNATURAL, also inspires me. During my stage performances, I would get a strange feeling in my stomach that made me realize that my dream to become an actor was not just a phase. My high school instruction told me that he let his dreams go and didn’t want me to be like him. He wanted me to become a successful actor. Besides acting, I’d like to earn the credentials to teach K-12 graders history and theater. My life is just beginning.
